Yesterday was Mother’s Day, and it was wonderful. I got to spend part of the day with my family. One of our family traditions is to participate in the Forzani’s Mother’s Day Walk/Run. I think we have participated almost every year since about 1997, we did miss one year. Some years we have run, some we have walked, this year we walked!
After the run, we met up again for brunch, and the girls bought me flowers (amoung other things). This morning I photographed the Sunflower, and the beautiful delicate petalsThanks everyone for a great day.

erin was about 14 when we started going to bloomsday and doing the runs………so maybe it was 1999!?

I was 15 the first year we did bloomsday (11 years ago)… I don’t know if we did the mother’s day run before that year
