One of my favorite flowers, but I have been unsuccessful at growing them in my current residence. I have been told that they are a hardy perennial, a favorite in shade gardens, and I have plenty of shade in my back yard near the deck. I don’t know what it is, but I am having no luck. So I think I am done trying and next year I will do what I have done the past couple of years and photograph in other gardens!
