It was 6 am and we were on our way to St. Mark’s Square to see the sunrise – the question of why did cross our minds, as it was raining it was quite possible there would not be much of a sunrise. We were already awake, out the door and wet stop! Here is Bill standing on the bridge waiting for me as I get some pictures off the Accedemia Bridge.

lucky me I am not made of sugar, so I don’t melt in the rain – it was so beautiful I am inspired to go out in the rain more often!
