Yesterday wasn’t my first visit to Liberty Island, to see the Statue of Liberty, but I nevery tire of the ferry ride and a walk around the island, or the view of Manhattan skyline. It is definitely worth the trip, everytime I am there I see new sights, and hear new stories from the rangers. This should be on everyone’s to see list while visiting New York City.

hi, thanks – i was on the island just below Ms. Liberty on the walkway! with a 70-200 mm lens and a 1.4x teleconverter! it gets me up close!
