Sunday was a great spring day for a walk in Princess Island Park. We had an umbrella on hand just in case it decided to rain, and while it was a little windy, there was no rain. We decided to take the umbrella out of the bag to do a few photos anyway, it added that hit of color we needed. It won’t be long before the grass is green, and the flowers are blooming.
This photo taken in early spring is almost monochromatic except for the bright red umbrella. I think a good use of color to draw attention to the subject.

It seems like everyone has gotten out to do some walking and I’m absolutely loving it. I try not to let the better weather stir me up too much, but this year is really getting to me.
