warm setting sun,
fuzzy pussy willows,
spring is in the air.
Monday I was visiting Cochrane Ranch, near Cochrane Alberta, the willow trees were past the bud stage, but seemed to have a halo around them when seen in front of the setting sun. It is friday and I am looking forward to a long weekend.

I was just out there about a week ago; such a beautiful place to go for a nature walk! Love this photo.
I had not been out there for a very long time, but so glad I ventured out of the city for a change! I am glad you like the photo.
This is the image you are shooting while waiting for image to come out on Polaroid film. Digital was cheating for the shoot-out. But still beautiful photo, capturing nice light.
I know Hiro, but it has been so long since I have shot with film, and I am new to the 4 x 5 camera, so i was nervous that I wouldn’t get what I wanted!!! I am glad you like the photo!
The light is beautiful, and the lens flare is the perfect touch.
thanks Journey
Is that what pussy willows look like before they become fluffy? Pretty picture!
this is what pussy willows look like after the gray fluffy stage, it is a stage most people seem to miss! pollen everywhere! thanks Marina.
ohhhh, so interesting. I guess the pollen part is the unpopular stage. I think I misread ‘past the bud stage’ to ‘prior to bud stage’. Sorry! Your photo is quite abstract. Very interesting looking at it again
