Vancouver BC is a beautiful city to visit, and Stanley Park a favourite attraction of those visiting the city. This photo taken during one of our early morning walks while visiting the city last May. It was a little cool, and a little rainy, the pond was still and the light perfect for reflections.

Great city to visit. It was the last city a group of us visited during a cycling tour from Seattle, WA. Nice photo.
thank Rick, Vancouver is one of my favorite cities to visit as well.
Took my eye a couple of seconds before I could work out what was going on here, nice!
thanks Stephen, glad you like it. this is an actual reflection of the rocks in the water, very little photoshop!
I hope you make the effort to print it, as I suspect that the web version will pale into insignificance against a 300ppi print – especially if you have a printer that can do good blacks.
Absolutely gorgeous! I love the dramatic use of dark & light in this piece. Nice composition and use of reflection as well. I do quite a bit of work with reflection as well. If you’d like to see some of it, please visit my website online!

That’s a lovely photo!
thanks Marina, glad you like it.
Reflection is common technique, but when you create images it does not look not a streight-forward reflection image. B&W really suits the image.
Hi Hiro, yes b&w seemed like a better choice, it really brought out the textures in the rocks.
Oh, no. So many typos!
Eye catching photography , Thanks for sharing my friend
thanks Jake! glad you like it, if fits with your photo challenge this week as well!
Beautiful simplicity! I hope to visit Stanley Park next time we’re in Vancouver. Thanks for the suggestion!
thanks Naomi, glad you like the images, there is so much to se in Stanley Park, it is definitely a must see when you visit the city.
