A self-taught photographer inspired by the world around me, meeting new people and hearing their stories, travelling new places, seeing, tasting, smelling, experiencing and learning. You will find images of what I have seen, I try to bring the ordinary to extraordinary, to appreciate and share a moment in time. Henri Caratier-Bresson once said, “Photography is nothing – it is life that interests me” I would add to that, by saying it is the camera that allows me to capture and remember that moment.

I love photographing kids, babies, and families, but I want to do more than just the studio photo. It is fun to watch them play and interact and catch some of those emotions in the photos. I want to spend time with people and show get to know and then show their personalilties.

I want to know what  is special about a business and give people images they can use on their websites and company material that also speaks to their passion, and provide business profiles and product images that connect to people.

I find interesting images everywhere. Photography has given me the gift of seeing. When I take time to really look I find images everywhere. Wassilyh Kadinsky said, ”Color is the keyboard, the eyes are the harmonies, the soul is the piano with many strings. The artist is the hand that plays, touching one key or another, to cause vibrations in the soul.”  When I pick up the camera to photograph something it is because it has touched my soul, my hope is the images I produce will touch your soul.
