Jeff and JoAnna’s wedding day battle
The title might have been a little misleading, but even a water fight is a little unexpected on the typical wedding day! They had fun, and my camera gear stayed dry, two very important points. This had to have been the most fun I have had at a wedding in a very long time.
My wish for Jeff and JoAnna, may all their battles/fights be this much fun.
I was happy to assist Hiro Kobayashi and photograph the wedding of Danielle Grey and Simon Blakey. While the weather was a little grey, the day was a happy one for everyone who attended the wedding. I don’t think anyone looked happier that Simon!
Newly weds, new family……..for the wordpress weekly photo challenge: family.
I have been playing around with Karen and Jon’s wedding photos, and thought I would try something completely different. I can’t decide if I like it or if it is completely hokey, if it is too busy, and the backgound is distracting, or adds to the “story”
I think I will have to look at it for a while, and I know that it really only matters what Karen and Jon have to say about it, I would like to hear from you as well. What do you think?
The travel guides suggest that the Rio San Barnaba is one of the prettiest canals in the area, it is home to the floating barge crammed with fruit and vegetables that was featured earlier in the blog. Quiet at night the canal reflects the lights of the shops and restaurants that line it giving it a friendly and peaceful feeling.
More photos from the Funky Town Wedding Photography Workshop. Christina Craft covered so many topics and provided lots of valuable information. She is full of great energy, she kept people involved asking and answering questions and helping with demonstrations. She provided lots of time and information about shooting brides, along with two great modes. We found several difficult, but great location for doing portraits; we talked about working with available light, and using video light off camera flash. We covered more things than can be mentioned in this short blog!
In short she and the workshop were inspiring, I learned a lot, and I am sure with time to review the day and the material I will be even happier that I made the investment.
