The Tiger Lilies are blooming, and today they are covered in rain. I have read that Tiger lilies are very easy to grow, and once you cut off one blossom another one quickly replaces it. There are some varieties of tiger lily that will bloom straight from late June through to the first frost. This lily is also a very aggressive flower that can grow into big bushes that can quickly overtake the entire garden if you don’t prune often.
We have planted a few of these wonderful flowers in the garden, and I am hoping they take over the small patch, bloom from June to September and bring sunshine to the garden. I will let you know how it goes!
