I have followed Kim Klassen’s blog  for quite sometime, learning about textures, and being inspired by her photos. Using layers of textures she creates she is able to create lovely images. On Friday she has a sharing post, asking others to share what they found on friday, so  today I thought I would jump in and share my Friday Find.

If you have been following this blog for a while you will know that we are walking the Via la Plata from Seville to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. Yesterday we visited the archaeological site of Italica where I found this beautiful statue, placed high on a pedestal so there was no distracting background, not far from the statue was a black slate tablet with latin writing on it.

Reading Kim’s blog this morning I was inspired to share my Friday Find, l would recommend you check out her blog for inspiring textures, techniques, images and stories.
