Today we arrived in Almaden de la Plata, along the Via la Plata, Spain, about 70k from Seville. The countryside is rolling hills, groves trees. From what I can tell there are olive, oranges and apples grown in the area. The skies have been clear, the temperatures are warm between 20 – 25 C.
The mid day sun makes for harsh high contrast photographs, since the white church walls are easy to over expose I thought I would be more intentional. Creating, in Photoshop, my best “water-colour” type image. Enhancing the black outlines, and saturating the colours of the trees I was able to finish the image as I had imagined it.
While you cannot see them, if you look to the church spire you will the see the nests of tow storks, considered luck for a town to have nesting storks. Perhaps I will see them flying later today!
