ABOUT ME

A self-taught photographer inspired by the world around me, meeting new people and hearing their stories, traveling new places, seeing, tasting, smelling, experiencing and learning. You will find images of what I have seen, I try to bring the ordinary to extraordinary, to appreciate and share a moment in time. Henri Cartier-Bresson once said, “Photography is nothing – it is life that interests me” I would add to that, by saying it is the camera that allows me to capture and remember that moment.

Wassily Kandinsky said, “Color is the keyboard, the eyes are the harmonies, the soul is the piano with many strings. The artist is the hand that plays, touching one key or another, to cause vibrations in the soul.”  When I pick up the camera to photograph something it is because it has touched my soul.

I appreciate comments and feedback and would like to hear from you, connect with me on Instagram for facebook. Prints of some of my images are available through Society6 and new prints are added to the storefront almost daily.

  3. Discovered your blog today. Love the pictures as well as the narratives. While a picture is worth a thousand words, the narrative fires up the imagination as well and they so go well hand-in-hand in your blog.

    Looking forward to more.. 🙂

My laptop suffered a minor injury to the UBS port, and the service tech has been working to revive it! So I have been disconnected from my blog for a few day, so I apologize for the delay in answering your comments. I answer to Jan or Janice!
